PVDF HOMOPOLYMERS

SOLEF® 1000 and SOLEF® 6000

  • No chain branches
  • Made via suspension polymerization
  • SOLEF 6000 has narrower molecular weight distribution

HYLAR® 460 and HYLAR® 461

  • Broad molecular weight distribution
  • 40-60% insoluble gel fraction
  • High concentration of chain branches

PVDF COPOLYMERS

SOLEF® 11000 series

  • Made via suspension polymerization
  • Heterogeneous distribution of HFP among the chains

SOLEF® 20000 series

  • Made via suspension polymerization
  • More homogenous distribution of HFP among the chains
  • Different HFP levels available

HYLAR® FX

  • Made via emulsion polymerization
  • Different HFP levels available

PVDF COPOLYMERS WITH CTFE

SOLEF ® 30000 series

  • CTFE levels of 10, 15, and 20%
  • Copolymers strongly heterogeneous
    (similar to elastomeric nodules)

* Here are the recommended grades for membranes:

* SOLEF® Homopolymer :

SOLEF® 1015: Homopolymer grade soluble in NMP

SOLEF® 6010: Homopolymer grade suitable for melt flow extrusion
SOLEF® 6020: Homopolymer grade with higher molecular weight than SOLEF® 1015
* SOLEF® Copolymer :
SOLEF® 11008: VF2-HFP copolymer with 10 % HFP suitable for melt flow extrusion, soluble in NMP
SOLEF® 21508: VF2-HFP copolymer with 15 % HFP suitable for melt flow extrusion, soluble in NMP and acetone

SOLEF® 21216: VF2-HFP grade with the highest molecular weight of SOLEF® range, and lowest fusion temperature (135°c). Soluble in NMP and acetone.
